Puri-T Welding & Fabrication, LLC is a growing structural steel and welding company committed to quality craftsmanship, safety, and reliability. We’re looking for a dependable and safety-minded driver to join our team and support daily operations.
Position Overview
This role is responsible for transporting materials, tools, and fabricated steel components to and from job sites, vendors, and the shop. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and comfortable operating trucks with trailers.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up materials, tools, and fabricated steel components
- Load and unload materials using proper safety procedures
- Secure loads in compliance with DOT and company standards
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Assist with shop organization and material handling when not driving
- Coordinate with shop and field teams to ensure timely deliveries
- Maintain cleanliness of the shop and facility, including cleaning bathrooms & taking out garbage on a regular basis
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid Washington State driver’s license with a clean driving record (required)
- Must be willing to submit current MVR from DOL
- Experience pulling trailers and maneuvering in tight spaces
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a physically active environment
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in construction, welding, or steel fabrication environments
- Basic knowledge of load securement practices
